Best state ever.
This is a picture of my dog, Harrison. He is a Maltese. He is wearing a Harley-Davidson shirt to keep warm while it is 20 degrees outside. I realize the irony of this. It is Snow Day #2. Some may scoff at the fact that approx 3" of sleet has virtually shut down the state of Texas with three snow days, rolling blackouts, and a flurry (like the snow vocab?) of all-day newscasts. But I am really appreciating our state's lack of ice experience. I feel like Texas has put productivity aside to say "Hey, what's another snow day?" While some states require students and employees alike to slog through multiple feet of snow and snow plowers to throw magnesium chloride (or whatever salt they use) on the streets all day, we Texans are totes chill. No doubt at my house we're getting stir crazy up in here (said Yolanda), but I've also had the time to do things that got pushed to the end of my to-do list (registered my Starbucks card and am on my way to gold status, thanks Weston), and to ignore things that got pushed to the end of my to-do list (names of the bones in the body, sorry I still don't know you). Plus I got to take pics of Harrison after mom decided to make him wear clothes. So go snow freakouts. Go dog photo shoots. Go Texas.
