Today is my birthday, so in usual birthdayzilla fashion, I tricked out this post to make it fabulous. Hope it's cool. Well, this 18th birthday was def the craycray-est of my days of birth. Excerpts from the day: Free Starbucks on my birthday! I gave myself a birthday blessing. Mr. Lutken gave his Roger Bannister talk! I, along with almost the entirety of the basketball team, endured a sore throat/sinus infection. Mrs. Ferris decided to go all cra-zy math teacher on us. Softball practice was full of spontaneity. There were multiple run-ins with Coach Geier. Mom decided drivers license renewal was imperative. In an effort to use my 18-year-old status to my advantage, I bought a lottery ticket. The drawing is tomorrow! So, after today, I feel like I have successfully withstood my first adult test. Currently having some traditional Hansen family secret-recipe strawberry birthday cake. And I can't wait to take my birthday present trip to Nashville! Thanks to everyone for wishing me a happy birthday! I'll be sure to return the favor. Because birthdays are the best.
